Episode Nagi Episode 1 | Blue Lock-

“Soccer... is a pain,” he thinks, for the thousandth time.

“Fine,” he says. “But you’re carrying my bag.” The helicopter lifts off. Below, the school shrinks to a toy. Nagi stares out the window, watching the world blur into gray. Reo is already on his phone, reading dossiers on the other Blue Lock players, muttering names like Isagi and Bachira and Kunigami .

“All I have to do is touch the ball and put it in the net. That’s not hard. That’s just... moving something from A to B.”

Nagi puts his phone down. He doesn't run away. But he doesn't hurry either. After the final bell, Nagi shuffles to the school’s second-string practice field. It’s not the main pitch. It’s the cracked, weed-tufted field where the kids who aren't good enough practice. And yet, Reo is there.

And inside the control room, behind a wall of monitors showing every corner of the facility, a man with wild hair and eyes like a starving wolf—Jinpachi Ego—watches the two of them.

Before Nagi can reply, a helicopter roars overhead. Low. Too low for a school zone. A black chopper with a blue streak down its side lands on the main pitch, shredding the grass with its downdraft. “Soccer

Reo steps forward first, his shoulders back, his chin high. He’s never looked more alive.

“Exactly!” Reo puts a hand on Nagi’s shoulder. “And I have the vision. The money. The ambition. Together, we’ll win the World Cup.” “But you’re carrying my bag

Nagi sighs. Then, for the first time in months, the corner of his mouth twitches upward. Not a smile. A flicker of something. Curiosity.

Nagi follows, hands in his pockets, head slightly bowed.

His phone buzzes. A message from his only friend, Mikage Reo.
