Leo minimized the game. Cheat Engine was still open. But there was a new process in the list.

Leo’s hand hovered over the mouse. The rain outside sounded suddenly loud. He heard his mom’s footsteps upstairs, but they felt distant, like they were from another timeline.
That was Tuesday.
Leo unplugged the computer. Not shut down— unplugged . The CRT monitor faded to a white dot and died.
He opened his Downloads folder.
He double-clicked both, changed their value to ‘9999’, and pressed the ‘Freeze’ box. Back in the game, an enemy shotgunner blasted him point-blank. Leo’s character didn’t flinch. The blood splatter vanished instantly. He was a ghost.
CheatEngine5.3.exe was gone. In its place was a single text file, modified one minute ago. cheat engine windows xp
