If you’re looking for a classic (not Resurrected), here’s the current state of play. Do NOT download random “no-cd cracked installers” from shady sites —most are riddled with miners or old malware.

This sub doesn’t support piracy, but note: almost all major private servers (Path of Diablo, Project Diablo 2) require you to and use their own launcher. They don’t provide the base installer.

Many old “D2 LOD installer.exe” files floating on abandonware sites are that won’t run on modern OS without deep virtual machines. The official Blizzard installer (1.14d) removed the CD check entirely. You don’t need a crack anymore.
