DORAEMON pulls out the gadget, shrinks both of them to the size of a coin.

DORAEMON (whispering) Any louder and they’ll hear your heartbeat, Nobita.

LILULU (from Nobita’s shoulder) You humans are crazy. We should blow up the factory. doraemon steel troops

NOBITA But Doraemon… Zanda is still inside. He’s scared.

LILULU (softly) …On my planet, we forgot that.

They sneak past the troops’ legs. Suddenly, a tiny voice: DORAEMON smiles

The robot’s eye turns from red to blue.

The STEEL TROOPS – hundreds of identical, red-eyed humanoid robots – march in perfect sync. NOBITA hides behind a rusted pillar, sweating.

LILULU goes silent. For the first time, she looks at a fallen Steel Troop – its red eye flickers weakly, like a candle in rain. LILULU (from Nobita’s shoulder) You humans are crazy

NOBITA No! There’s a difference between a soldier and a person. Even if they’re made of metal.

She picks up a loose bolt and gently screws it back into the robot’s chest.
