Leo stared at the screen. His coffee had gone cold an hour ago, and the rain against his studio window had settled into a hypnotic rhythm. He was a sound editor by trade, which meant he spent most nights alone, repairing the cracks in other people’s voices. He knew better than to open unexpected attachments.
