I’ve been on a massive Gust kick lately, and I finally decided to hunt down the original Japanese version of Iris no Atelier: Eternal Mana . Yes, the one that started the shift from the "Salburg" time-management style to the traditional JRPG dungeon crawler we saw on the PS2.
I have tailored this for a retro gaming or emulation community, as the "download" context implies either preservation or import play. Down the Rabbit Hole: Downloading & Playing Iris no Atelier – Eternal Mana (Japan Import)
Hey alchemists and JRPG veterans!
Has anyone else successfully patched the English text into the JP ISO? I know there are undub patches floating around, but I’m curious about the reverse—keeping JP audio with EN text.
If you’ve got the storage space (approx. 3.2GB) and a tolerance for random encounters, this is a hidden gem. The 2D sprite work is gorgeous, and the soundtrack by Ken Nakagawa is top-tier.
