She tapped the tablet screen. The Paw Patrol logo appeared. Then the familiar, crackling theme song began to play—not streaming from the cloud, but from the little metal heart of the tablet itself. “Exactly
Leo’s brow furrowed. Then his eyes lit up like a rescue beacon. “Download!”
She scooped him up and carried him to the living room tablet, still docked in its foam bumper case. The wind was already starting to moan, and the first flakes were beginning to fly sideways past the porch light.
“But Mom!” he yelped, scrambling off the couch. “Chase and Rubble! The giant snow bunny from Foggy Bottom! I’m on the last episode!” But what can we do before the storm
