DW7E is superior to DW6E in every way (more officers, better CAW, actual English text). If you have a PS Vita, you can play it on the go. Or get the PC version on Steam.

Some players have created a custom PPSSPP texture pack that replaces Japanese menu images with rough English ones. It’s not a real patch (battle text and dialogues remain Japanese), but it helps with the empire management screens. Search for "DW6E PSP English UI Texture Pack" on archive.org. Bottom Line There is no English patch for Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires on PSP. Anyone selling or linking one is misleading you. Your best bet is to emulate the PS3 version or play DW7E instead. If you’re absolutely set on the PSP version, a printed menu translation guide is the only reliable way.

Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires was fully localized on consoles. If you have a PC that can run RPCS3 (PS3 emulator) or Xenia (360 emulator), you can play the complete English game. The PSP version is just a downgraded port anyway.
