The episode opens with a haunting prologue: 10 years ago , in a small, rainy coastal town.

Enter Park Soo-ha (now played by Lee Jong-suk). He is a tall, quiet high school student with a blank expression. His secret: He can still read people's minds by looking into their eyes. He works part-time at a car repair shop.

He smiles faintly and says in Hindi: "Kal se mein tumhare saath rahunga. Teacher kehna ki mein tumhara... bodyguard hoon." (From tomorrow, I'll stay with you. Tell your teacher I'm your... bodyguard.)

She thinks he's crazy. But then he adds, softly: "Tumne 10 saal pehle meri jaan bachayi thi. Ab meri baari hai." (You saved my life 10 years ago. Now it's my turn.)

One day, he sees Hye-sung yelling at a traffic cop. He recognizes her instantly. He walks up to her, stares into her eyes… and hears her loud, messy thoughts: "Ugh, this stupid cop. I'm late. I hate my job. I need coffee." He smiles. The episode opens with a haunting prologue: 10

We meet Jang Hye-sung (now played by Lee Bo-young, dubbed in Hindi with a sarcastic, fast-talking voice). She is a public defender with a bad attitude. Unlike idealistic lawyers, she only takes cases for the paycheck. Her Hindi dubbing captures her tone perfectly: "Mein vakil hoon, bhagwan nahi. Sirf paise ke liye case leti hoon." (I'm a lawyer, not a god. I only take cases for money.)

Hye-sung finds him annoying. "Kya dekh raha hai, ladke?" (What are you looking at, boy?) she snaps. He doesn't answer. He just follows her around like a ghost.

Suddenly, Joon-guk stabs the girl. Soo-ha screams. Joon-guk sees him. The boy runs, but Joon-guk catches him. Just as the killer raises his knife, a high school girl——arrives. She's bold, scrappy, and sharp-tongued. She hits Joon-guk with a brick and drags Soo-ha to the police station. His secret: He can still read people's minds

She loses a case on purpose because the client is rude to her. Her colleagues despise her.

In court, young Hye-sung testifies against Joon-guk. The killer glares at her, silently promising revenge. The young Soo-ha, watching from the gallery, realizes something incredible: Hye-sung is lying to protect him . She claims she saw the murder clearly, even though she arrived after. She takes the risk so the killer doesn't target Soo-ha.
