Download a small utility called or use this batch script:

You double-click the icon. The screen goes black. The cursor spins. Then—nothing. Or worse: a crash to desktop, a "Please insert the correct CD-ROM" error, or graphics so broken that enemy soldiers look like origami nightmares.

@echo off start /affinity 1 IGI2.exe exit Save as IGI2_FIX.bat in your game folder. Run the batch file instead of the game executable.
