The Crecy campaign of 1346-1347 was a pivotal event in the Hundred Years' War between England and France. This campaign saw the English army, led by King Edward III, invade France and achieve a crushing victory over the French army at the Battle of Crecy. The campaign ultimately led to the French king, Philip VI, being forced to abandon his capital city, Paris.
