Peach noticed something else. The code— 0100A3900C3E2800 —it wasn't random. She translated it in her head, using the old Mushroom Kingdom hex ciphers. 01 was Mario. 00A3 was the Origami Castle. But 900C3E28 … that was a count. Nine billion, twelve million, three hundred ninety-eight thousand, two hundred eighty.

Seconds since the first loop began.
