“That’s a Lancer,” the Priest whispered.

The morning air over Velika smelled of salt and forge smoke. Kaelen, a fresh-faced Human with more hope than sense, stood before the Adventurer’s Guild notice board. His new lance—polished, heavy, and unforgiving—rested across his back.

“I want to protect people,” Kaelen corrected.

“Idiot,” Kaelen muttered, slamming ‘Challenging Shout’. The knights spun toward him. He blocked the first swing— CLANG —and felt the impact vibrate up his arm. tera lancer guide

“Listen up,” Kaelen said, surprising himself with the authority in his voice. “Stay behind her. If she faces you, run. I’ll keep her front.”

Kaelen remembered Seren’s words. Your back is a crime scene. “That’s a Lancer,” the Priest whispered

“I almost died,” Kaelen admitted.

He tapped ‘Backstep’, pivoted, and raised ‘Shield Bash’. The mage staggered. Kaelen followed with ‘Spring Attack’, knocking it into the wall.

The first room was chaos.

Back in Velika, Kaelen found Seren at the forge.

Kaelen paused. “No.”

Then she cast her poison circle.

“Finish her!” he roared.

She lunged. Kaelen raised ‘Onslaught’, the charge skill that let him brace through damage. He took the hit. His health dropped 40%. The Priest healed. He cycled ‘Iron Will’ for defense and ‘Second Wind’ for a panic self-heal.
