Uncle | Grandpa Series

Uncle Grandpa and Maddie sit back-to-back on the porch. They refuse to acknowledge each other. They refuse to acknowledge a passing parade. They refuse to acknowledge a UFO landing. (The aliens get bored and leave.)

He pulls out a tiny ukulele and starts playing elevator music. Nobody claps. Nobody turns around. He smiles wider.

He crawls under the rug. A moment later, a tiny trapdoor opens in the floor. He falls through with a "WOOOOBWOOBWOOB."

(taking it, smiling for real) "Thanks, Uncle Grandpa." ENDING: Uncle Grandpa Series

(without looking up) "We're not ignoring you, U.G. We're just... comfortable."

Uncle Grandpa's eyes light up. He stands, dripping, and puts a hand on her shoulder.

"You know what we need? An Ignoring Contest ." Uncle Grandpa and Maddie sit back-to-back on the porch

Uncle Grandpa deflates like a sad balloon. His belly hole whistles sadly.

INTERIOR. U.G.'S RV - DAY

Back in the RV. Uncle Grandpa returns through the ceiling, landing on the couch. They refuse to acknowledge a UFO landing

"Oh great. A magical old man fell into my sprinkler."

MONTAGE. A montage of ignoring.

(louder) "Hello? Earth to coolest people in the universe?"
