Betty is hired as the head of the economics department at Ecomoda , a fashion company. The new president, Armando Mendoza , is handsome, charming, and superficial. Initially, he mocks Betty behind her back. However, he faces a financial crisis and realizes Betty’s genius is his only salvation. He keeps her close, feigning friendship and respect.
